PS Summit 2026: the programme for 4 and 5 November in Lyon

Posted on , by Julien Agostini

On 4 and 5 November 2026, the PrestaShop ecosystem moves to a new meeting point. PrestaShop Day, held in Paris each spring, gives way to the PS Summit 2026: two days at the Centre de Congrès in Lyon, with the PrestaShop and Sylius communities under one roof for the first time.

For a merchant or an agency, the practical question stays the same: is it worth the trip? Here is the programme day by day, what sits behind the change of format, and how to prepare for both days.

Why PrestaShop Day is becoming the PS Summit

The change of name is not cosmetic. In 2026, PrestaShop joined the cyber_Folks group alongside Sylius, under the leadership of Mikołaj Król, who is also CEO of Sylius. The two platforms already share a common technical foundation, since PrestaShop 8 runs on Symfony. The PS Summit is the first public expression of that move.

Market conditions explain the timing. Proprietary e-commerce platforms charge against growth and keep tightening access to merchant data. Faced with that pressure, European open source is organising rather than absorbing the hit. A few weeks before the summit, Mikołaj Król published an open letter addressed to developers, agencies, partners and merchants, acknowledging an organisation that had grown too complex and raising the question of how an open source project stays economically sustainable when 61 % of its code contributions have come from PrestaShop’s own teams since the beginning.

That is why the opening keynote matters beyond the usual circle. It should set the direction for the coming years, and in particular the PrestaShop 10 roadmap.

For projects, the split taking shape is fairly readable: PrestaShop remains the foundation for B2C activity, from launch through to scale, while Sylius covers complex B2B projects built to order. With both inside the same group, a project that grows or pivots towards B2B no longer has to leave the ecosystem.

Wednesday 4 November: the developer day

The first day closes its doors to the general public. It combines hands-on workshops with a collaborative hackathon, and targets experienced PrestaShop and Sylius developers.

The setup is worth noting: PrestaShop developers get their hands into Sylius, and Sylius developers open up PrestaShop. On the concrete agenda are headless architecture, Symfony integration pushed hard, and the way both codebases answer the same problems with different judgement calls.

If you run an agency, this is the day to book for your technical team. The architecture decisions behind your 2027 projects get shaped here.

Thursday 5 November: conferences and expo

The second day is open to everyone and brings the whole ecosystem together. Two rooms run in parallel, the Auditorium and Foyer 1, alongside an exhibition area where partners hold their stands.

Sessions worth your time

  • 9:30, Auditorium: opening keynote by Mikołaj Król, CEO of PrestaShop and Sylius. The long-term vision and, in all likelihood, the PrestaShop 10 roadmap.
  • 10:15, Auditorium: “The PrestaShop update nightmare: soon a thing of the past”, by Olivier Binet, Managing Director of PrestaShop. With a live demo.
  • 11:45, Auditorium: B2B e-commerce roundtable with PrestaShop and Sylius, the session that speaks directly to agencies repositioning themselves.
  • 14:00, Foyer 1: “New risks, new opportunities: how AI is reshaping security at PrestaShop”, with Cyril Navarro and Mathieu Rolland (PrestaShop) and Clotaire Renaud (202 ecommerce).
  • 14:35, Foyer 1: live demo of the Ask IA assistant from a production store, with the co-founder of Ma Coque.
  • 16:05, Auditorium: merchant roundtable hosted by Angelo Aouad, PrestaShop Country Manager for France. The only session announced in French.
  • 17:40, Auditorium: Community Awards, followed by the closing address.

One thing to plan around: language

English is the working language of the day, which makes this edition far easier to follow for an international audience than previous PrestaShop Days in Paris. The single exception is the merchant roundtable at 16:05, announced in French. If you do not speak French, build your afternoon around Foyer 1 at that time.

The programme is updated regularly between now and November and the times remain indicative. A quick check the evening before avoids surprises.

Side events

Some of the most useful conversations happen outside the conference rooms.

On the evening of 4 November, the Community Party takes place at the Barrio Club, place Jules Ferry, from 20:00. It is open to every PS Summit attendee, including those arriving only the next day. In parallel, by invitation only, an opening dinner brings speakers, sponsors and organising teams together at the Six Brotteaux. Same building, no travel between the two.

On 5 November, after the closing address, the after party runs on the Modulo barge, quai du Général Sarrail, from 20:00 to midnight.

Profileo on site

Profileo is a Gold partner of the 2026 edition and will have a stand across both days, alongside OVHcloud, present in the same space.

What gets discussed there, concretely: managed and sovereign PrestaShop hosting, tracking the performance and security of a store with Zentria, and technical audits for merchants and agencies alike. Today, 1,500 merchants and 150 agencies work with Profileo day to day.

If you come with a specific question about your store, bring the numbers that go with it: observed load time, PrestaShop version, number of SKUs, traffic peak from your last commercial campaign. With those, a useful diagnosis takes five minutes. Without them, half an hour.

Preparing your visit in three steps

  1. Book your place on the official site. The two days have different access conditions, with 4 November reserved for technical profiles.
  2. Write down three concrete problems before you leave. What pays for a trip is the answers you bring back. “How do I cut the load time on my product pages” opens a useful conversation. “See what people are saying about performance” rarely opens one.
  3. Identify the stands you want to visit and book your meetings in advance. Slots fill quickly on the 5th.
