🎯 The importance of keywords in SEO 🎯
Keywords are the terms internet users type into search engines when looking for information, products, or services.
A few numbers worth remembering:

4 out of 5 consumers do an online search before buying Once the search is done, 70% of clicks go to organic search results The 1st position in results gets a click-through rate of between 30 to 35% Optimized organic search can generate a conversion rate of 14.6%

Your goal → Climb into the top search results for keywords aligned with your target audience’s expectations, to increase your chances of being visible 🔎 (and boost your sales at the same time 📈)
💡 6 tips for finding relevant keywords 💡
1. Start by listing the keywords that best describe your business, your products, or your services.
2. Take a close look at your target audience’s expectations to come up with relevant phrases: what are their intentions, their needs, their pain points (which you address, of course)…?
3. Use keyword research tools to discover variations you might not have thought of, and get information on their search volume and competitiveness.

→ At this stage, choose your main keywords ⚡️

4. Expand your list with secondary phrases, synonyms, or terms from the same lexical field.

🏷️ Also take a look at Google Suggest, the “Related searches” feature at the bottom of search results pages, as well as the “People also ask” section

5. Be specific by targeting long-tail keywords: they have less competition and can therefore help you attract more qualified traffic (in terms of numbers, long-tail keywords convert 70% more often than short or generic keywords).

ℹ️ For example, it’s more relevant to target the specific phrase “kids’ primary school desk with storage” than the generic keyword “desk.”

6. Keep an eye on the competition. This can give you additional ideas and help you discover new opportunities!

Once you’ve identified the relevant keywords for your business, you’ll need to use them wisely in your title tags and meta descriptions, as well as in your (quality) content, to improve your website’s visibility.
